NOM BIS
|
Nomination for BIS (best cat in a category) is awarded to cats in their categories. For example, the MCO is in II category and competes for a nomination against the NFO, RAG, SBI, ACL, SIB, TUV, ACS and TUA, who are also in II category.

BIS (Best In Show) |
Best cat in a category. BIS winners are chosen from among the cats nominated for BIS within their respective categories in each of the following subcategories:
Litters are also evaluated during Best In Show part. The winning litter receives the title of BIS Litter.
The following cats compete against each other during the last stage of a cat show:
In the adult class:
In the above pairs, the cat of the opposite sex that has lost the title to the winning cat is awarded the title of BOS (Best Opposite Sex).

| BOS (Best Opposite Sex) |
Best cat chosen as Best In Show of the opposite sex (e.g. when a male and a female compete together for BIS and the male is awarded BIS, then the female receives BOS).

| BIC (Best In Category) |
Best cat in a category (cats with BIS titles in their respective categories compete against each other for BIC).

| BOB (Best Of Best) |
Best of the best (winners from all categories compete against each other for BOB). Only adult cats who have been awarded the title of BIS Adult in his/her category can compete for BOB (kittens, juniors, neuters and veterans do not compete for BOB).

| BIV (Best In Variety) |
Best cat in a colour group. Separate BIVs may be awarded to cats in each class: kitten, junior and adult. Only cats in the same colour group can compete for this title.

| CH - CHAMPION |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 3xCAC by three different judges during national or international FIFe shows. In order to receive CAC, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1).

| PR - PREMIER |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 3xCAP by three different judges during national or international FIFe shows. In order to receive CAP, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1).

| IC - INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 3xCACIB by three different judges in at least two different countries during international FIFe shows. In order to receive CACIB, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1).

| IP - INTERNATIONAL PREMIER |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 3xCAPIB by three different judges in at least two different countries during international FIFe shows. In order to receive CAPIB, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1).

| GIC - GRAND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 6xCAGCIB by at least three different judges in at least three different countries during international FIFe shows. In order to receive CAGCIB, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1). The 2007 Show Rules allow for 8xCAGCIB as well, but awarded by four different judges in two different countries.

| GIP - GRAND INTERNATIONAL PREMIER |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 6xCAGPIB by at least three different judges in at least three different countries during international FIFe shows. In order to receive CAGPIB, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1). The 2007 Show Rules allow for 8xCAGPIB as well, but awarded by four different judges in two different countries.

| SC - SUPREME CHAMPION |
Formerly EC – EUROPEAN CHAMPION. In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 9xCACS by at least three different judges in at least three different countries during international FIFe shows. When 7 CACS were obtained in the same country, the remaining 2 CACS must be obtained in two different countries. In order to receive CACS, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1). The 2007 Show Rules allow for 11xCACS as well, but awarded by six different judges in two different countries. |
| SP - SUPREME PREMIER |
Formerly EP – EUROPEAN PREMIER. In order to obtain the title, a cat must have been awarded 9xCAPS by at least three different judges in at least three different countries during international FIFe shows. When 7 CAPS were obtained in the same country, the remaining 2 CAPS must be obtained in two different countries. In order to receive CAPS, a cat must first obtain the qualification “Excellent” (EX1). The 2007 Show Rules allow for 11xCAPS as well, but awarded by six different judges in two different countries. |
| WW - WORLD WINNER |
In order to obtain the title, a cat must be awarded BIS during the World Show. The title World Winner is awarded for life and is marked as a prefix before the cat’s name. |
